Following several takes of the Dunk High, Air Adjust Force, Air Max 180, and most recently, the Air Force 1 Low, Yoon Ahn’s AMBUSH label and Nike are teaming up once again to release a collaborative take on the Air More Uptempo. A shoe that debuted back in 1996 and was designed by Wilson Smith with details including the popular “AIR” lettering along the sides. While it wasn’t a signature shoe for no specific player, it was Scottie Pippen who popularized it.
This offering of the AMBUSH x Nike Air More Uptempo was first previewed by Yoon Ahn on Instagram. It features a Tan nubuck upper with mesh tongues and a Black embroidered mini Swoosh on the toe box along with another Swoosh on the heels. Highlighting the shoe are Yellow accents on the signature “AIR” lettering on the sides, AMBUSH stamped on the heel of the midsole, while co-branded details appear on the insoles. Olive-colored shoelaces atop a solid Black rubber sole completes the design.
